Who Am I

My name is Martin, and I was born in Groningen, the Netherlands. I discovered photography in 2017, and it quickly became more than a hobby—it became a way to observe and connect with the world around me.
During my time in Belgium, I developed a deep interest in street photography, often working in black and white to emphasize light, contrast, and emotion. I’m fascinated by fleeting moments—the quiet gestures, the unexpected compositions, and the beauty hidden in everyday life.
Today, my work continues to explore atmosphere, structure, and storytelling through both urban and natural environments. Whether capturing the stillness of a landscape or the pulse of a city street, I aim to create images that invite reflection and evoke a sense of presence.
